Abstract

Every man/woman has two lives in their life. Professional life and Personal life. Here, everybody struggles to balance it. Achieving a healthy balance between professional duties and personal life is an increasingly complex challenge. Several obstacles can interfere with an individual’s attempt to maintain this equilibrium. Here, balancing professional responsibilities with personal life commitments has become a significant challenge in today’s fast-paced world. The pursuit of work–life equilibrium is often obstructed by long working hours, increased workplace demands, digital overconnectivity,
and shifting family expectations. These obstacles not only affect productivity but also influence an individual’s emotional well-being, social relationships, and overall quality of life. Understanding these barriers is essential for developing effective strategies that promote healthier work habits, stronger support systems, and improved personal well-being. This paper explores the major obstacles to harmonizing professional and personal life, highlighting both organizational and individual factors that contribute to this persistent imbalance.
