Instructions for Authors

The International Journal of Business and Management Sciences (IJBMS) invites the submission of original, high-quality manuscripts that contribute to the advancement of research in business, management, and related disciplines. Authors are requested to carefully follow the guidelines below to facilitate a smooth review and publication process.

1. Publication Model

IJBMS follows a continuous publishing model, whereby accepted articles are published online immediately after final processing and formatting. This ensures rapid dissemination of research without waiting for issue compilation.

2. Submission of Manuscripts

Manuscripts must be submitted through the online submission system:

  • Submissions must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration elsewhere.

3. Manuscript Preparation (Initial Submission)

At the submission stage, strict formatting is not required. Authors are advised to submit manuscripts in a simple and clear format to facilitate peer review.

Basic Requirements:

  • Page Size: A4
  • Layout: Single-column
  • Font: Times New Roman
  • Font Size: 12-point
  • Line Spacing: 1.5 or double spacing
  • File Format: Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx)

Manuscript Structure:

  • Title
  • Abstract (maximum 250 words)
  • Keywords (4–6 keywords)
  • Main Text (Introduction, Methodology, Results, Discussion, Conclusion)
  • References
  • Authors are encouraged to ensure clarity, consistency, and readability of the manuscript.

4. Post-Acceptance Formatting

Upon acceptance, manuscripts will undergo professional typesetting by the journal production team.

  • Articles will be converted into a standardized LaTeX format.
  • Final layout, styling, and formatting will be handled by the journal.
  • Authors may be asked to review proofs prior to publication.
  • Note: Authors are not required to submit manuscripts in LaTeX format.

All submissions undergo a rigorous double-blind peer review process:

  • Reviewer and author identities remain confidential.
  • Each manuscript is evaluated by at least two independent reviewers.
  • Final decisions are made by the Editor-in-Chief.

7. Ethical Standards

IJBMS adheres to internationally accepted publication ethics:

  • Proper citation and acknowledgment of sources are mandatory.
  • Ethical approval must be obtained for applicable research.

  • Acceptable similarity index: ≤ 15–20% (excluding references).
  • High similarity or unethical practices will result in rejection.

IJBMS is an open-access journal providing unrestricted access to all published articles.
